The Stress of Leadership
Leadership in today’s emergency management is best defined now as daily survival. The daily challenges and the constantly changing environment can put a great strain on anyone personally. American Emergency Preparedness has worked diligently over the last two years building workshops that help managers work through these challenges professionally. Stress is a daily challenge for us all.
We believe that preparedness and professionalism are two important steps to lowering your stress daily. This workshop will identify the strengths of being organized, being honest, and being prepared for all the daily tasks we encounter in this dynamic field.
We will present:
Daily Organization
Honesty in all tasks
Knowing Human Resource Law
Writing an Empowering evaluation
Progressive discipline and its implementation
Teaching as a leader
How to develop a team
This eight-hour workshop will give the attendee new and old tools to work with. American Emergency Preparedness is working to define the simplest and most effective way to lead; to be effective every day.
Stress is a subject that needs to be defined as learning process; a place of growth. The negative stigma related to stress brings learning to a halt. At AEP we want to see the growth of everyone in our amazing industry.
